Manic Digger uses the standard control scheme of mouse and keyboard controls as input. The game cannot be played using only a mouse or only a keyboard.

Game Controls

Movements

W - Walk forward

S - Walk backward

A - Strafe left

D - Strafe right

• Mouse movement - Look around

Building

• Left click - Destroy block
• Right click - Add block

1 - 9 or scrollwheel - Change building block type

• Middle mouse button - Select the block you are looking at

B - Show material selector (Inventory)

I - Show block information

Crafting

C - Open Crafting Menu. Press while looking at crafting table.

U - Unload - dumps all active blocks from inventory into crafting table. Press while looking at crafting table.

L - Loads blocks from crafting table into inventory. Press while looking at crafting table

Interacting

 Only available in Nightly

E - Interact with block (e.g. open door, light TNT)

Minecart

V - Enter/leave minecart. Press it when looking at minecart ( E in nighly)

W, S - Accelerate and brake the minecart

A, D - Turn minecart on junctions. (keep pressed when approaching junction)

Q - Reverse minecart

Multiplayer

⏎ - Chat

→Tab - List all players

Misc

P - Set spawn position

R - Respawn

F1 - 1x move speed

F2 - 10x move speed

F3 - Toggle move mode

F5 - Third-person camera

ESC - Release mouse and open game menu

Advanced

F - Toggle fog distance

F6 - Redraw blocks

F7 - Draw FPS history

F8 - Toggle framerate (VSync, unlimited, lag-simulation)

F11 - Fullscreen

F12 - Screenshot (written to folder "My pictures")
