Version 2011-02-12 Introduced per server textures and was announced on http://manicdigger.sourceforge.net/news/?p=245

A texture contest was started to help differentiate Manic Digger from Minecraft. The winner was announced at http://manicdigger.blogspot.com/2011/04/contested-times.html and newer versions have been using the textures since.
