Sand is a block that can be found next to water.
It is besides gravel the only block that has gravity, so you can't build much with sand, because you can't leave space.
Crafting
Sand is generated naturally, it can't be crafted.
You can use two block of sand to craft one glass block, which is very useful for buildings.
