A stair is a half-block sized stone. It is man-made so it can't be found naturally. It is especially suitable for creating stairways, because you don't have to jump to get on top of it. This stairs are the only blocks that are less than one block high.

The half size also make it suitable for decorations, allowing smaller details, for example a roof going up at a 22.5 degree angle.

There is also a double version of the stair, the double stair block. It is the size of a normal block (1x1x1). The double stair block does not have the ability of the half stair block and acts like a regular block.

Crafting

The stair and double stair block is crafted with two stone.
