The crafting Table is the most important block in the game.

It allows to craft blocks that can't be found naturally.

The player starts with six Crafting Tables, he can use them together with wood to craft new crafting tables.

Crafting Tables usually take longer to break. However, that wasn't used in the last nightly build (12.02.2011), where crafting tables can be destroyed with one hit.

Crafting Tables have a brown texture now, instead of the default blue, which was used as a placeholder.

Usage

To be able to use crafting tables lay them down in a fully connected shape.

You can craft blocks by placing the needed blocks at the crafting tables.

Then you can look at the table and press c to open the crafting menu.

If the combination on the table is valid, a selection menu will appear.

As soon as you select one option, the maximum number of result blocks are crafted, leaving behind any remainders.

You can craft Crafting Tables by using three wood. This is one of the most important crafting recipes.

Trivia

The crafting table has to be bigger to be able to craft more. This is more realistic than in minecraft, where you can use a very small crafting table to craft everything in an unlimited amount.
