In Manic Digger there are many types of blocks available. Here is a list of the current blocks

Basic Blocks

Basic blocks float in the air and have no behavior or special action. They are used mainly for creating interesting architecture and interior decoration.

Half-Blocks

These blocks take up half of a 3 dimensional block space. Otherwise they are the same as basic blocks. The only blocks are:

Falling Blocks

When placed, these blocks fall if there is no current block directly underneath them. Falling blocks drop until they reach a point where there is a block underneath them. At this point, they do not fall anymore and stay still until the block underneath them is taken away. Some include:

Action Blocks

Action blocks serve some purpose or action for the player. Action-blocks have a pre-defined behavior. The behavior of action blocks can range from opening and closing to providing some light. Some example action-blocks are:

Fluids

Fluids are liquids and gasses. Manic Digger currently has 3 types of fluids: air (nothing), water, and lava.
