Optimizations – 3x-10x faster
New version (2011-01-15) is around 3x faster at high view distance. At view distance under 256 (F key), game is up to 10x times faster than previously.
There is less fog.

Wonderful update Exe. I hope you keep working on MD for a long time. It’s getting really good so far.
Hmmm, there’s actually a lot of potential here. Would be pretty awesome if someone made this into an RPG engine (In a fork maybe?), with npcs, dialogue trees, customisable monsters and such.
Is there any particular reason why limited inventory has been removed?

its like a copy of minecraft but its free. =P maybe in the near future MD and MC will have so many updates that they wont be anything alike =P

Ok well for one i’ve heard many things about this game.On the minecraft forums in general, now i wanted to give this game a chance instead of automatically saying this is a ripoff but….. Seriously? i cant, this is in a nutshell. Minecraft Indev, so its like they took the Minecraft code while it was very early on and just put it in as a NEW ORIGINAL game…. im sorry, im not trying to be just another troll but i mean. I cant think of one thing different. I looked at most of these pictures and thought it WAS mincreaft. And ManicDigger? Thats fine and all but MD and MC….. Im sorry, this just looks like a ripff to me :I
