Here will be news about development of Manic Digger. It is a game similar to very popular Minecraft. Manic Digger is written since first days of March 2010, with SourceForge project appearing on 31 march 2010.

Currently three things are changed.

• Be a train. Just build railroads (using combinations of 6 rail pieces known from Transport Tycoon) and press V. Then accelerate/decelerate with W and S, turn on crossings with A and D.
• Infinite world. Not really infinite, in current version limited to 10 000 x 10 000 x 64, but that can be improved in future. Now it takes 16 minutes to walk from the center of the infinite world to map edge.
• New block types. You can post on forum 32×32 public domain images of new block types, and if any good, they will be included in game.

In the next days multiplayer server list (http://fragmer.net/md/) will be connected with game.
