Here will be test versions of game: http://manicdigger.sourceforge.net/nightly/
List of changes (git log): link.

Preview versions contain new untested gameplay functions. They may crash sometimes, but they can also fix crashes and bugs.

Even thoug I'll wait for oficial, more stable versions of the game, it's great to know what has been implemented, what has been put some work into already and what has been fixed!
Keep up the great work!!!

Nightly version is probably much faster than 2011-02-12 on single-core processors when shadows are disabled.

It also has a very basic test of flowing water. (crashes random player when water floods map bottom layer)

1st Great work on the water fluids my only critique, placing 1 block of water 'spawns' more I personally would like to see the same 'quantity' of water (ie, If I place a single water block on top of a hill it would then run down the hillside until it came to rest in a natural puddle (which equates to 1 blocks worth of water)

as for the other improvements... I'm sure they go a long way to improving the game speed/stability etc

once this hits as an actual release I'd be eager to get it!

Ive been playing around. My whole map is flooded! but the problem is that you cant actually see the water its just a buch of black squares where the water is.

If i put some lava, water is flowing from all border...
And the set lava is smaller than normal and on the top i can see trough the water the normal ground with no water...
i think its a bug.

Maybe your texture pack doesn't have new water block.
