Well I've battled past the forum trolls... and managed to read an actual thread.

1st off, both my GF and I would like to know is a new optimised version of MD will be available soon, I can go without asking for some of the other features I was going to enquire about... If there is a new faster version available I'd love to get my hands on it!

My girlfriend plays MD on her netbook, which is less than powerful in terms of ability, and while she can get it to be playable with fog set to about 64 its still quite laggy, even on my laptop I notice slowdown in certain places.

(also: side note.. how about adding a 'troll' enemy into MD ?? it could wander the landscape just mumbling "nonsense... nonsense... blaah .. repost!...blaah... ripoffff ...")
