sorry to break it to you but minecraft is not really original and btw as it goes for me what is free is better so yeah i don't buy games atleast not this kind ...

I paid for Minecraft and it is indeed a fun game. However, Manic Digger is also a very interesting engine. It shouldn't be about what is free and what costs a fee (Minecraft is more then worth its cost).

Please also look at the fact that this is not only a game. This is also a open source client/server engine for people to make use of when learning or designing their own games. If you feel you would like a particular feature added and have the skills to do so, you can. Both Minecraft and Manic Digger have their place.

If you have any further hate comments to post on our forum, please don't. If you have something constructive to post that could add to Manic Digger then by all means we'd love to hear it.

Yeahhhhh.... this game look incredibly similar to MC. As in, the developer must have played Minecraft, then blatantly copied everything to have it be this similar.
There's probably a possibility for copyright infringement suit here, though the lack of one already suggests a lack of caring on Mr. Persson's part, or that some circumstances make a suit iffy. Whoever made this is an asshole in any case.

you arelly are an idiot ...as long he didnt use any mc textures or codings is not a mater of copyright and remeber that minecraft is not original it stated as clone of infiniminer dont forget that are people who dont have money for games so they play whats is free ! so this good alternative . Don't like it then don't play it.

Manic Digger was initially build as a third party open source client for Minecraft. As such, of course it resembles Minecraft. Because Notch expressed dislike with the idea exe has been slowly working towards making it into its own game that differs from Minecraft by a lot more then it does currently. Eventually it'll be more of a village simulation / realtime strategy. It takes time to shift gears this much so don't expect an immediate leap.

In addition if you can offer code, art, or even just reasonable suggestions you should really do so instead of harassing our forum.

Do you have any idea how simple Minecraft's player model is? How easy it would be to replicate in any game you wanted to at all?

Might want to think about that before you continue to harass our community. Also, if you read the post above yours (Guest) you'll basically see that your point is moot.

Awfully uninspired of y'all to copy it straight up, though. Doesn't matter how simple it is or not, could have created your own, simple model.
